Sunrise Holiday Homes is only a few miles away from our offices, so a¥er such a long time of being on each other’s doorsteps we finally got together for us to find out more and meet the team.

We have always had great feedback about Sunrise, and on a cold morning in January we popped in for a cuppa and a catch up…

DE: Tell us about your background and experience.

(Lucas) I started as an estate agent at 15 (after a few years down the markets!), after that I dabbled in timeshare in Greece, before moving into the world of caravans; so I’ve seen all sorts! I have worked in the caravan/ mobile home industry now for 15 years, and this year Sunrise celebrates our 13th year in business.

(Georgia) Has had quite the working life; from being a Virgin Air Hostess, working in advertising, to working on various caravan parks and in the trade for most of her life, before joining me to run Sunrise in 2010. 

DE: How long has Sunrise Holiday Homes been around and how did it all start?

Sunrise Holiday Homes was formed in 2010. A few years working for another dealer, I could see the pitfalls of our industry, and hoped to make a company who does things differently. Within a few months it was clear I needed vital help from my sister Georgia who had just finished a stint in advertising. Together we made Sunrise really take off, and my awesome staff really go the extra mile for our clients, and that’s what it’s all about, everything else will follow!

DE: What really sets you guys apart?

I like to think that because we’re a family owned and run business, no maer how big we get we’ll always have that personal touch. We always go the extra mile here. All our clients know they can speak to the Directors anytime, our staff hold the hand of every customer who is new to this. Most of all we don’t employ SALES people, just people! And that works really well. Also, our unique range of Sunrise Lodges, unlike any other in the country, rapidly evolving with solar power, underfloor heating, roof terraces and much more.

DE: Tell us more about your relationship with manufacturers.

We have a fantastic working relationship with all the major manufacturers, and have worked closely with Delta Caravans to produce our specially adapted Sunrise Lodges for nearly a decade. Being approved by each of them to stock their finest models is a great freedom. And with our in house after sales department, nothing gets missed! We regularly stock the top models from ABI, Willerby, Victory, Delta and many more. 

DE: Anything else that you guys do?

We also buy static caravans!
