Our WINTER edition of 'Parklife' is now available to our NACO Members.
Hello and welcome to the winter edition of Parklife magazine, – resplendent with our cover-shot
competition winning entry!
As I write this in an unseasonably mild (ok, hot) October, winter seems a way off, but we all
know that the time will come to batten down the hatches and prepare caravans and lodges for the colder
weather, as covered in our Autumn issue.
Things to look out for in the present magazine include our MD, Terry O’Dell’s consideration of the relative value-for-money of caravan ownership with its attendant costs versus the upkeep of a holiday home abroad. He also contrasts the two lifestyles with their early 60s equivalents. His reflections on pitch fees tie in nicely with our guidance article, also in this edition.
We also have Bella Brodie’s review of new models featured at The Great Holiday Home Show, which was superbly organised at Harrogate in early September. NACO was in attendance and once again met up with members old and new. Check out Dan Ellacott’s overview of that stunning event.
Our residential section features once again, and with our review of Andy Jenkinson’s “Caravanning in the 1970s” – featuring all you need to know about touring caravans in that era – we’re really broadening our horizons.
I hope you enjoy the magazine and find something of interest as you scan the busy contents page. If you have any ideas for future articles, please get in touch.
With best wishes for a happy and peaceful winter,
