More so now than ever with increasing living costs, we are all looking for ways to get more “Bang for our buck” and this is exactly what comes to mind when looking at the new Willerby Hayward.

This is a 40 x 20 holiday lodge and Willerby really are demonstrating they understand the changes in the current market and are not only offering 2 & 3 bed layouts but are introducing a 4 bed option capable of sleeping up to 10. This is great news for larger families and opens up wider options with regards to shared holiday home ownership.

The living space as you enter is vast and designed to support those larger numbers comfortably. The open plan kitchen has an island with breakfast bar stools, plenty of worktop and cupboard space, plus features all the basic kitchen appliances you would hope to see including a 70/30 split fridge/freezer, gas oven/grill with hob and integrated microwave. The lounge has 3 two-seater sofas (4 bed model only) and a fixed bench-style dining table fits neatly next to the patio doors. The design is “simple but effective” and clever use of accent colours in grey, navy and mustard give it a relaxed and bright arrangement.

The lounge has dimmer- switch spotlights, electric fireplace and a space for a large tv screen; perfect for those 'family and friends' movie nights.

In the 2 & 3 bed layouts, The Hayward master bedroom has free standing bedside cabinets and walk in wardrobe, the en-suite boasts a quad shower enclosure with WC and wash basin… no need for sharing though as the family bathroom has both bath and overhead shower alongside WC and sink with vanity unit above.

As standard this unit is EN1647 Leisure specification with gas central heating and

double glazing, white convex sockets and USB points. It is possible to upgrade with a bumper pack – including integrated kitchen appliances, a Hive thermostat and a swivel chair in the lounge.

This unit starts at a very respectable £91,500 ex VAT and works. I am confident this is a unit which will appeal to many looking to maximise their holiday home experience.
