Can I ‘lockdown’ at my caravan or lodge if I have nowhere else to go?
Yes you can say the Government.
Please see this letter:
And this extract:
From this document As you can see from the above the document - The Health Protection (Coronavirus, Restrictions) (England) (No. 4) Regulations 2020 – states that caravan parks “…may continue to carry on their business…to provide accommodation for any person, who – (i) is unable to return to their main residence; (ii) uses that accommodation as their main residence;” There are also numerous other reasons too. As ever these rules are open to interpretation and opinion.
If you have a good reason for not being able to go home – health implications for instance – then one would hope that this would fit the bill. However, the holiday park world doesn’t always take a reasonable stance on these matters so it’s a case of speaking to your park manager in the first instance. If possible, make the approach via email and use the above letter and document if needed. Be mindful fo the implications of staying put and don't sign anything before taking some advice.
