Holiday Home Review: Swift Alsace Caravan

I saw the new Swift Alcase at The Lawns Caravan show back in September 2016 and loved it! When looking around the shows, there are so many caravans to see -  if you’ve been before it takes something very different to stand out from the crowd!

The Alsace does exactly that, it’s exciting and modern with lots of different design influences which gives both a striking exterior and interior.

This unit appealed to me as it would be ideal for me and my family, with not only plenty of space but I love the design throughout which is bang on trend with its fresh colour scheme, modern furnishings, clever storage solutions and feature walls.

Having been to a lot of shows I’ve seen many a caravan over the years I’ve always felt the wall coverings could be a little more decorative – especially with the large print wallpapers that have made a comeback in our homes in recent years. The patterned feature wall in the lounge it great, it adds warmth and texture to the room - something we’re sure to see from other manufacturers soon enough.

Anyway, back to the lodge itself. In addition to the features that we’ve become accustomed to in a high-end model such as this, there are some nice little additions that make this one a little different. These include the floor to ceiling corner feature window in the lounge, USB sockets also in lounge with the optional extra of Bluetooth Audio connection to lounge ceiling speakers, the low-level kitchen window and glass splash backs. To the bedroom you’ll get Duvalay luxury mattresses as well as a great curved-edge ottoman to the master bed – makes you feel like you’re staying in a luxury hotel.
