Spring has sprung at the NEC…
This year’s spring show at the NEC – hosted by the NCC – saw the biggest ever display of holiday homes and lodges ever! There was even an entrance dedicated to the “Holiday Park Experience” along with other areas where first timers could get a real good feel for holiday caravan ownership.
If you’re thinking about buying a static holiday caravan or lodge the show is great opportunity to see all that the industry has to offer. There’s lots of park owners there too along with plenty to keep the family entertained too.
As ever Willerby were putting on a top-class show unveiling their latest lodge – the Juniper. Bi-fold doors, a configurable design, and the Oslo Wall System are some stound out features. The Oslo what? The guys at Willerby are pretty excited about their new wall set-up here’s what they say…
“First of all, it looks nice. Secondly, the interior finish is very different to normal plasterboard as its super strong. You don’t need to worry about where the joists are to drill into (just check for electric cables!) or use a rawlplug to keep in the nail or screw. Our new board can hold up to 40kg in weight from one hook…”
Interesting stuff, the ability to transform your lodge and make them your own will undoubtedly be a big selling point. Granted this unit is at the top end of things, but a bit like cars, the top-end features have a way of working their way down the chain – especially if there is customer demand.
Swift were also impressive with a completely new double unit for 2018 – the Biarritz Lodge, a new single special edition – the Ardennes and a revamped Bordeaux and Burgundy – ooh la la! All Swift holiday homes come with an impressive array of features including: bonded exterior walls, fully galvanised chassis, low energy LED lighting and a Duvalay mattress on all beds.
Head to hall 4 for all of the holiday home manufacturers including – ABI, Atlas, Omar, Pemberton, Swift, Tingdene and Willerby. The show is on for the rest of the weekend so get down there!
